Position Objective and Responsibility:

An Account Manager is a member of the Account Management Services team and is responsible for the management of signage accounts. For example, when a sign program is sold to a company for multiple locations of their stores or hotels or restaurants, your task is to organize and coordinate it to its on-time completion. Purchasing Manager: Delaware, Ohio

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of material and inventory management including purchasing, inventory control (cycle counting) while minimizing inventory costs.
  • Establish successful relationships with suppliers for programs that ensure the availability of materials at minimal levels. Conduct analysis to understand and react to problems concerning inventory dollars, out of stock situations and lead time.
  • Work directly with other departments to drive the development and improvement of purchasing and inventory control standards, policies and practices.
  • Provide critical analysis and investigations as required by Senior Management in support of warehousing, inventory control and related strategies.
  • Interface with project/account managers and manufacturing in resolving issues, coordinating resources and managing activities to ensure goals and objectives are met.

  • Identify, evaluate and approve suppliers; coordinate supplier visits and audits.

Requirements for Success:

  • Preferably a Bachelors’ degree in a related field; minimum of 5 years Purchasing Manager experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
  • Industry certification preferred (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
