Program Manager / Program Coordinator – Oceanside, California

Project Objective and Responsibility:

  • Work with our ongoing customers managing our performance to ensure the customer’s sign program requirements are met.
  • Maintain customer communication to their satisfaction
  • Prepare and present proposals and sign design
  • Arrange customer location surveys as needed, verify sign codes
  • Qualify and negotiate with subcontractors for obtaining permits, installation & budgets
  • Issue purchase orders
  • Maintain current status of all jobs in internal system
  • Track, forecast and provide projections of projects

CAD Detailer / Drafter – Oceanside, California

Responsibilities:

Responsible for taking art sketches and preparing detailed shop drawings, neon layouts, cut plates, and bill of materials for mfg. plant. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of sign mfg. and a minimum of four years of drafting and two years of CAD Detailing experience. This job requires a strong ability to pay attention to many details and an ability to proof work to avoid costly mistakes. Experienced Metal Workers and Sign Fabricators – Oceanside. California

Positions for both shifts are available for proven sign builders with experience operating hydraulic press brakes, shears, rollers and certifications in MIG welding. Preferred skills and abilities:

  • Capable of reading blue prints and engineering prints
  • Capable of using power equipment such as shear, press brake, iron worker, cold saw,etc.
  • Familiar with mig welding process for aluminum and steel. Prefer to have certification but not required.
  • Proficient in using oxy-acetylene cutting torch.
  • Capable of using hand tools such as pop rivet gun, power drills, grinders, sanders, jib saws, etc.
  • Able to plan and complete job within estimated time.

Designer – Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas (Euless)

Position Objective & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Designer to join our team. The Designer will function as the primary source of design, specifications, and preliminary engineering consultation for our program and potential program customers.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate FHS and subcontractor resources for the support of design and preliminary engineering requirements of existing programs and potential program customers as needed
  • Provide direction in the performance of site survey to ensure complete and accurate site evaluation
  • Assist with the analysis of sign code information
  • Provide optimum graphic and technical recommendations as dictated by survey and code analysis
  • Provide complete detailed and accurate design and specification prints according to set standards regarding order, format, content, and terminology
  • Communicate as primary program team contact with plant and field technicians regarding design and technical specification
  • Assist with the resolution of work completed and invoicing issues with subcontractors
  • Use Computer Assisted Design (Corel Draw) equipment and software
  • Maintain orderly and accessible graphic files on CSS
  • Interface with production and engineering personnel as well as study specifications, new technologies, and product samples
  • Participate in sales presentations to promote a team approach to customers as required by sales group
  • Create standards for On-going accounts for Charter Books as Gate Keeper

Skills and Experience Desired:

  • We are looking for someone with around two or more years of experience designing in a similar role.
  • The candidate must be able to accept responsibility for functional design and preliminary engineering support for specified salesperson or on a per customer basis.
  • The candidate must also be available to travel to customer locations, or FH locations as required.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of CAD equipment and software specifically:
  • Design/Rendering
  • Lettering/Layout
  • Specification/Fundamental Engineering

Production Manager: Delaware, OH

We are looking for a world class individual capable of motivating people to embrace
our Lean culture while meeting production demands. This candidate must be able to
maintain a high focus on Lean and Safety while overseeing production. This position
will report directly to the Operations Manager and will oversee approximately 120-
150 individuals throughout the plant. Responsibilities include maintaining the overall
productive output of these areas, quality control, meeting scheduled production
dates, and motivating the personnel in these departments to produce the best
products in our industry.

Skills and Experience Desired:

The preferred candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years experience as a successful manager with
    experience in a Lean & Safety conscious manufacturing environment.
    A degree in Advanced Manufacturing that focused on Lean Manufacturing is
    a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as he/she will be working in a
    team environment that is driven by production deadlines.
  • Experience in tracking and reporting labor variance as well as the ability to
    solve issues to reduce variance in the future.
