Angel Stadium

The Big "A" Sign Remodel

Angel Stadium of Anaheim is the fourth oldest M.L.B. stadium in existence. In 1966 the Angels transitioned from sharing Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to their newly built Stadium in Anaheim, California. Since the relocation to Anaheim, the Angels went on to achieve 8 division titles and a World Series Championship in 2002. In 2011, ESPN ranked the Los Angeles Angels #4 on its list of Ultimate Team Rankings, putting the Angels ahead of every current team in baseball and any franchise in Los Angeles. The halo around the Angel “A” logo stands as an iconic symbol for players and fans around the world.

Federal Heath and the Angels organization came together to remodel the existing structure outside of Angel Stadium. Federal Heath installed a 34’x46’ Message unit, reinforced existing channel lettering with new lighting surfaces and re-painted the entire structure with semi-gloss finish. LED lighting was applied to the halo around the Angel “A” and placed along both vertices of the structure. Since the new additions and remodel to the Angels signage, their attendance has topped over 3,000,000 fans each season and counting!
